BD Funding Partners ("BD Funding Partners," "we," "us") is a commercial financing broker. We help businesses find equipment and software financing from third-party lenders. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Information we collect
- Contact and business details you give us: your name, title, business name, email, phone number, years in business, and details about what you want to finance.
- Application information, if you continue with a financing request: business financial information such as bank statements and tax returns, ownership details, and information about guarantors. We collect these only through secure channels, not by email.
- Credit information, only with the written authorization of the individual concerned, obtained by lenders or by us for the purpose of evaluating the business financing request.
- Information from vendors and referral partners, such as a quote and your contact details when a vendor introduces you to us.
- Website usage information collected automatically, such as browser type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from IP address, through standard server logs and similar technologies.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate which lenders may fit your request.
- To prepare and submit your financing request to lenders you are matched with, and to communicate decisions, offers, required disclosures, and documents.
- To verify identities and businesses and to help prevent fraud.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
- To improve our website and services.
How we share information
- Lenders and funders that we submit your request to, so they can evaluate, document, and fund it.
- Service providers that help us operate, such as secure document storage, e-signature, identity and bank-data verification, and email providers, who may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Vendors who referred you, limited to the status of your request (for example, approved or funded). We do not share your financial documents or credit information with vendors.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers, as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Text messages and calls
We will only send text messages if you opt in. Consent to texts is not a condition of applying. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, and you can ask us to stop calling you at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, multi-factor authentication, and encryption of sensitive documents in storage and in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please don't send bank statements, tax returns, or Social Security numbers by email; we will provide a secure upload link.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and regulatory recordkeeping requirements, which for financing records can be several years, and then delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as recordkeeping requirements. If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
